Breeds of Geckos gain more significance because more and more persons are having these as pets currently. Yeah. There are persons who are crazy in owning them and successfully rearing them as pets. One should understand the various breeds of Geckos before the owning.

Pernatty knob-tailed geckos are rare in country like Australia. Yeah. These are said to be the beautiful varieties of geckos. However, in Australia, more than fifty varieties of geckos are available.

Crested geckos are having the origin of New Caledonia. Until the tropical storm in 1996, these geckos are thought to be extinct.

Different breeds of geckos are available in various regions like Asia, Africa, . However, gecko breeds are not present in snowy places or countries.

Lineata lineata is one of the lovely gecko reared.

Tokay gecko is the largest gecko found some times and often these geckos are aggressive in nature.

Gold dust geckos are also available breeds and these creatures are generally nocturnal in nature. However, some times, these can be seen in day time also.

Other species of geckos are v-nigra pasteuri, v-nigra pasteuri, barbouri, cepediana, comorensis etc. and are currently reared in a successful manner.

Nephrurus levis levis is an Australian breed and is nice to look at it. Leachianus is one of the Australian breeds of geckos observed.

Whatever the breed of gecko you have, you should understand that it becomes a must to satisfy the micro and macro environments for these species. If not, you may not be successful in the breeding of these tiny animals.

Phelsuma andamanensis is the native species of geckos to Andaman Islands in Bay of Bengal. Most of the species of geckos are from Madagascar and the surrounding oceans of Indian Ocean. There are about sixty-eight species and subspecies of geckos, in general.

Breeds of Geckos eat a variety of feed materials and there should be diverse type of feeding to different breeds of Geckos.
